How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. Simply go to the Google Play Store and download the fwoopi app. Once installed, the fwoopi app will take you through the process of setting up your account and choosing which category to advertise. Other than making the fwoopi app your primary text messaging application, you're all set.

What are the benefits of participating in the fwoopi affiliate program?

The benefit is you'll start making money on the text messages you're already sending! Today you send text messages to your friends, family, co-workers, etc. without any compensation. As a fwoopi affiliate, you do the same thing except when someone clicks on an advertisement you've sent, you get paid $0.05 for it. Not getting paid... getting paid, no brainer.

Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?

No, fwoopi does not charge anything to become an affiliate. However, the text messages you send are still apart of the texting package you have with your cell phone service provider. So if you don't have an unlimited texting package, you will be charged by your provider for the texts you send (just as you do today).

Can I become an affiliate if I live outside the United States?

No, not yet anyway.

How does fwoopi track my clicks?

Embedded in the URL on the advertisements you send is your affiliate number. When the advertisement is clicked, your account is credited with the transaction.

Will the fwoopi app work on my iPhone?

No, not yet anyway.

Will the advertisements show on non-Android phones?

Yes, any phone that has text messaging capabilities will show the advertisement. However, if the phone does not have internet connectivity, the advertisement will not function properly and you will not be compensated.

How do I get paid?

You get paid when someone clicks on an advertisement you sent. As this occurs, your account tallies your earnings. Once you reach at least $25.00, you can then request a payment. Payments are distributed the 1st and 15th of each month.

How can I track my clicks and earnings?

As part of the fwoopi app, you will have full control of your account including the tracking of your clicks and earnings.

How old do I have to be to be an affiliate?

You must be at least 14 years of age to be an affiliate with fwoopi. And if you are under 18 years of age, you must get parental permission before becoming an affiliate.

What is fwoopi?

Fwoopi is mechanism that allows you to advertise you product or service to individuals through text messages. A fwoopi affiliate sends a text message with your advertisement appended. If the receiver of that text message clicks on your ad, it will direct them to your website, Facebook page, coupon (fwoopon), anywhere you want them directed on the Internet.

What are the benefits of advertising with fwoopi?

Fwoopi is unlike any other text message advertising because your ads are not being sent to random strangers. Your ads are being appended to the text messages our affiliates send to their friends, family, co-workers, etc... the people they know. And because they know the people they are sending text messages to, they have targeted the ads to their likes and interests. So not only is your advertisements targeted, they are also virtually guaranteed to be read!

Do I have to have a website to advertise with fwoopi?

No, you can have your advertisement direct your customers to a Facebook page, a coupon (fwoopon) you can develop on the fwoopi website, and obviously a website; basically anywhere on the Internet.

Are there any fees associated with advertising with fwoopi?

There are no fees associated with advertising with fwoopi, you are only charged when your advertisement is clicked.

Am I charged when my advertisements are shown?

No, fwoopi is a PPC (pay per click) program, so your advertisement could show 1000 times, but if it is only clicked on once, you're only charged once. The charge per click is $0.20.

When am I billed?

You will be billed the 1st day of each month.

How often are my advertisements displayed?

Your advertisements are displayed with a frequency based on your monthly budget. The higher your monthly budget, the higher number of impressions will be needed to reach that budget, therefore the more often your advertisement will be displayed. Once you reach your monthly budget, your ad will not be displayed until the next month.

Can I just advertise locally?

Yes, you will have the option of advertising locally or nationally.

What would keep someone from sending text messages to themselves and just clicking on them to make money?

Fwoopi has programming in place to catch affiliates doing this. If anyone is found doing this, their affiliate status is immediately terminated. Fwoopi will not and does not tolerate this behavior.
